May's Doctor Appointment

Okay, my white cell counts went up, then down a little, but they are higher than April's appointment.  So, no worries there.  I discussed how tired I have been and they looked at my Thyroid numbers and they were okay too.  To give you some history, I have been slowing down in my energy levels for some time now.  It has been a gradual decline in my activity.  Now, I seem to do NOTHING but sit on the couch every night.  The days when I am feeling the effect of my shot, I sleep until 2 in the afternoon.  There are some rare days where I am up before noon.  I thought maybe allergies could be causing it.  I am not going to worry about it because the doctor's checked my numbers and they are okay.  My iron levels were low, but not classifiable as Anemia.  One suggestion was that the interferon has accumulated in my system over time and is taking it's toll now.  They could reduce the potency of my injections, but I told them NO!  I have only five or six weeks left and really want every drop of interferon kicking the melanoma's butt.  I may ask if I can leave work early on my bad days.  Then, go home and nap.

Thanks to all of you for your cards and support.
