The fully body scan I had at the end of September came out okay! This is great news.
To update on the other stuff..... I continue to self-inject interferon on Monday, Weds, and Fri evenings. And, continue to sleep away my Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays. I have very little energy. As much as I can, I am going to try and resist all the napping because it seems like - the more I nap, the lazier I get. Coffee does not work either. I can have a cup at 5:30 a.m and be asleep by 7:30a.m.!
I did purchase head coverings and wear them to work. My hair is thin, but I am not bald. It is so easy in the morning - just pop the cap on and I am done! I could spend 20 minutes trying to fashion a nice "comb over". Remember that Super Bowl ad - with the guy who does a comb over from his beard to his head? I did consider one taking from the back of my head, and flipping it over the top. Hard to describe, but use your imagination! My hair stylist just laughed at me and said NO.
I also continue to wear the compression stocking and put my foot up at the end of a work day. I am working Monday, Weds, and Friday only. That is going pretty well. The down-side is that the days I have energy, I am in the office. So, my cycle is work, sleep, work, sleep....Not Much Housework getting done. Thanks to Wallace, much of the housework is under control!
It also looks like Traz is stepping up and managing his school work without the "hover-smother" mom routine. He is really doing a great job of taking care of himself.
Only 9 months to go! Then I can get back to the old routine.
Peace,
Greta
