Hello again everyone!
I am cruising with my shots. I have done about 6 at home now. The needle is really so small that you don't feel it piercing your skin. That makes me very happy! Another great thing is: If I inject the interferon at around 9:00 pm, I sleep through the reactions (fever - thirst). The only thing I have to deal with is a lack of energy the following day. In addition, I get "winded" easily when walking up hills, and dizzy spells if I go from crouched to standing. We were at the Philadelphia Folk Festival this past weekend. There was a lot of hill walking, and a lot of light headed moments when I took the tents down. I could not wear my compression hosiery because it was so wet, rainy and muddy. The one I wore may never be clean again! Here I am relaxing out of the sun in the wooded area called Dulcimer Grove (reading a book on the hammock):
On Thursday, we are going to Ocean City to enjoy the beach. We are off to New Hampshire, Stowe VT and Burlington VT on Friday. I take my meds on the road. It should not be a problem. We will have the bikes and kayaks loaded and ready for fun. It will be the first time all summer for both! We will be back Labor Day weekend to settle in for a day or two before school starts. I will probably not update this blog until after Labor Day.
Take Care, Greta
